Work Days / Work Hours / Days per Year: Monday - Friday; 6.75 hours/day; 189 days per year (# of workdays for new-hires are pro-rated to date-of-hire) Union / Classification: OAPSE 120 / Special Education Paraprofessionals Reports to: Building Administrator(s) and/or Executive Director for the Office of Exceptional Children or designee Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour Required Certification(s): A) must be a highly-qualified paraprofessional under the provisions of ESSA and ORC 3319.074 by evidencing one of the following requirements: Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required); OR two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required); OR passing score of 456 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (copy of ParaPro Assessment results).
