Leadership Attributes Creates a fun, lively and celebratory environment Possesses and demonstrates a “One team, One goal” philosophy Works in an organized, deliberate, and fast‑paced manner Responsibilities Lead the teams by motivating, training, and developing the culinary team members in the production category through adherence to recipes and standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, cakes, cookies, pies, bars, puddings, buttercreams, etc. Lead team in production of custom baked goods. Develop and train skills in mixing, baking, and building. Assign daily production to team members and ensure completion. Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards. Qualifications Associate degree in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment Ability to work in multiple regional locations Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Physical Requirements Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead Able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds Must be able to taste product for quality assurance (buttercream(s), cake(s) and cupcake(s), batter, cookie dough and other recipes as assigned) Certifications ServSafe Manager Food Handler Certification Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr SusieCakes Bakery
