Environment, Health and Safety Sr Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health and Safety Sr Specialist to lead safety and environmental programs for a manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risks, improving safety practices, and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage workplace safety and environmental programs.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations.
\n
• Conduct facility inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
\n
• Investigate workplace accidents and implement preventive measures.
\n
• Develop and deliver employee safety training.
\n
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
\n
• Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with appropriate parties.
\n
• Work with supervisors and employees to improve safety practices.
\n
• Track safety performance and recommend improvements.
\n
• Coordinate safety audits and regulatory inspections.
\n
• Provide safety reports and recommendations to management.
\n

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
\n
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
\n
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and workplace safety requirements.
\n
• Experience conducting safety training and accident investigations.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with employees and management.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
\n
• Construction industry experience preferred.
\n
