Job Description

Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring for a Furniture Manufacturer in Maumee, OH .
We are currently looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join the team in the following positions:

• Upholstery
• Sewing
• Sorting / Materials

Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17 h ras well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include :
Monday- Thursday : 6:30am to 4:00pm and Friday, 6:30am to 10:30am.
Weekends off
These are hands-on manufacturing positions in a production environment. Successful candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.

UPHOLSTERY
Upholstery associates are responsible for preparing and upholstering furniture components according to customer and production specifications.
Typical duties include:

• Apply, measure, cut, position, and secure fabric, vinyl, foam, and other upholstery materials.
• Use staple guns, hand tools, and upholstery equipment to produce quality finished products.
• Follow work orders, inspect finished pieces for quality, maintain a clean work area, and meet production goals.

SEWING Sewing associates are responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment to produce upholstery covers and other components according to specifications. Typical duties include:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric and upholstery materials according to work orders and specifications.
• Measure, position, and sew seams, hems, panels, and other upholstery components while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect finished products, make adjustments as needed, maintain equipment and work areas, and meet production goals.

SORTING / MATERIALS Sorting associates are responsible for feeding products to the prep, glue, assembly, and upholstery areas to fulfill department demands. This position works with production departments, Materials, and supervision to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products. Typical duties include:

• Receive, sort, scan, and organize incoming products and parts according to work orders.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to the appropriate production areas while maintaining accurate inventory and order flow.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and hand tools while keeping work areas clean and organized.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Previous manufacturing, upholstery, sewing, warehouse, or production experience is a plus, but not required for all positions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow work orders and production instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, equipment, carts, and other production or warehouse tools.
