Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Health Screening Nurse
Location: Airport-Based Assignment
Position Type: Contract
Schedule: Variable Shifts Available Including Days

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to support traveler health screening operations within a fast-paced transportation environment. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, reviewing health information, identifying individuals who may require additional medical evaluation, and ensuring compliance with established health and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate possesses strong assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in acute care, emergency, public health, or other high-volume clinical settings.

Required Qualifications

• Active VA or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented nurse who excels in assessment, communication, and independent decision-making. Candidates with backgrounds in emergency nursing, acute care, urgent care, public health, occupational health, or travel medicine are highly encouraged to apply.
