Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Mill on the River! You will be responsible for overseeing memorable dining experiences for our guests as well as managing daily operations of front of the house staff with other managers . Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate staff assignments Train waitstaff, bartenders, hosts in proper restaurant skills and protocols as well as provide them with oversight and mentorship Oversee guest services, resolve issues, and ensure all guests experience a pleasant environment provided by competent staff Possess comprehensive knowledge of POS system in order to adjust check item/payment errors and run appropriate reports Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs Answer phones, assist in the taking of reservations utilizing Open Table, providing various information, and assisting in the booking of large party banquets ​ Qualifications: Substantial experience (5 years+ strongly preferred) managing a high-volume fine-dining restaurant REQUIRED Strong leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility Excellent written and communication skills Strong attention to detail MUST be able to work nights, weekends, and ALL HOLIDAYS \nCompany Description High-volume fine dining restaurant serving contemporary American cuisine as well as hosting a plethora of special events - wedding receptions, anniversary parties, bridal and baby showers, holiday functions, business dinners, and bereavement luncheons/dinners.
