Responsibilities Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships. Act as a problem solver, using in-depth training to recommend the best pest solution for each customer. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and following assigned leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes. Inspect interior and exterior of homes and explain recommended treatments. Make recommendations, address questions, explain the process, and set expectations. Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification (company-paid). Ability to work independently on the field and interact with customers. Work Environment Safely use a ladder within its weight capacity. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE); may require an OSHA-compliant respirator. Willing to work in various weather conditions.
