Job Description: Maintenance Mechanic

Location:  Victorville, CA

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities as necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions to maintain equipment integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Work collaboratively with team members and adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
• Keep maintenance area and tools organized and in good working order.
• Participate in training and development programs as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring manual dexterity, including lifting heavy objects.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing building systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
