As a Quality Assurance Technician, your responsibilities would include examining products for defects, conducting tests, and analyzing data to ensure products meet quality requirements. You may also be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, training staff on quality standards, and reporting any issues to management. A successful Quality Assurance Technician should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred, along with knowledge of quality control principles and testing equipment./ppQualifications:/pulliCollege/University Degree preferred/liliPreferred applicable experience working in a laboratory or testing./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliGood organizational skills/liliAbility to work a flexible schedule/liliProficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, etc.) and computer-based training software./liliEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non standard work hours as necessary./liliCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interaction/li/ulpJob Responsibilities:/pulliInspect and test products or materials to ensure they meet quality standards./liliRecord inspection and test data and communicate findings to other departmental teams./liliPerform visual inspections, measurements, and other quality control checks as needed./liliCollaborate with production teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues before and during manufacturing processes./liliMaintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results./liliFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area./liliDocument and report all non-conformance issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions./liliEvaluate and suggest improvements to quality control procedures and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness./liliConduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrective actions have been implemented and maintained./liliAudit and monitor suppliers to ensure their products meet quality standards./liliDocumentation Management: Maintain all Quality Assurance documents within the Quality Management System, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant./liliPerform heavy data entry related to quality assurance processes and maintain accurate records of quality metrics and compliance documentation./liliCoordination of reviews and audits: Schedule and coordinate document control reviews and audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available./liliSupport quality processes: Assist in the implementation of Corrective/Prevention (CAPA) procedures, Non-conformance reports, and general quality assurance administration tasks./liliSelf-motivated, confident, and able to work independently./liliPossess basic organizational skills and be able to work a flexible schedule./liliAbility to make decisions based on company policies and procedures./liliWorking closely with the quality assurance team to understand the companys quality control systems and guidelines/liliCollaborate with various teams (Production/QA) to address quality issues/liliPerform other duties as assigned or requested by Quality Coordinator or Management/li/ulpInteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
