Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals. \n
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, applying treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower clients in their therapeutic journeys. \n
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care through shared insights and treatment strategies. \n
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes consistently in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and regulatory standards. \n
- Engage proactively in community outreach activities to educate and support mental health awareness, contributing your expertise to broaden the impact of our services. \n
- Take part in regular training sessions and workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with current industry trends and best practices. \n
In your role, you will serve a varied population of clients, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges. You will cultivate strong, empathetic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, drawing upon your ability to communicate effectively to provide tailored support.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State. \n
- Proficiency in employing evidence-based practices, particularly with mood disorders, ensuring delivery of effective therapeutic interventions. \n
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to collaborate efficiently with medical professionals for integrated care solutions. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients and encourage open dialogue. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a counseling setting, with proven success in treating a variety of mental health issues. \n
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans, modifying them based on client progress and feedback. \n
- Experience in using electronic documentation systems to maintain accurate patient records and report writing. \n
