Machinist I (Potsdam, NY) Position Summary: Performs skilled work in set up and operation of all standard metal working machine tools, hand power tools, and hand tools to make and install mechanical parts or assemblies. Routinely works independently and shows good judgment with approach to complex setups and operations. This role may be structured as either a 10-month or 12-month position based on candidate preference and departmental needs. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
