Freight Coordinator

Job Title $21-$23/ hour Full-Time / On-Site Essential Responsibilities Dispatching & Routing Schedule, dispatch, and monitor drivers for inbound and outbound deliveries. Plan efficient routes to minimize delays, fuel usage, and overall transportation costs. Adjust schedules quickly when delays or unexpected issues arise. Operations Support Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth load preparation and on?time departures. Track shipments in real time and provide updates to internal teams and customers. Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding routing, instructions, and load information. Communicate service issues proactively and provide solutions to prevent service failures. Build strong working relationships with drivers, vendors, carriers, and customers. System & Administrative Tasks Enter and update system with dispatch details, load statuses, and notes. Qualifications 13 years experience in transportation, dispatching, or logistics (preferred). Must possess positive team-work attitude and open to learning opportunities. Excellent communication and problem?solving skills. Ability to multitask in a fast?paced environment and manage time?sensitive tasks. Proficiency with TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office.
