Pharmacist in Gastonia, NC

Provide pharmaceutical care and support at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving an underserved community. This role involves managing medication dispensing, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with 340B program regulations in a supportive community health clinic environment.


Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately using the PioneerRx system
• Counsel patients on medication usage and adherence, addressing diverse patient needs
• Collaborate with a one Pharmacist/one Technician team to deliver patient-focused care
• Support FQHC 340B program compliance and documentation
• Adapt to a fast-paced clinic serving an underserved population

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license required
• 1 to 3 years of pharmacist experience preferred
• Previous experience in an FQHC or community health center, highly valued
• Experience working with underserved patient populations preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a small team setting
• Spanish language skills are a plus to enhance communication with patients (not mandatory)
