Activity Coordination Assistant

The Activity Coordination Assistant ensures the daily operations of the Wellness Center meets participant needs. The Activity Coordination Assistant performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. The Activity Coordination Assistant schedules the Wellness Center meeting rooms and fitness rooms for pre-programmed classes/events. Plans, promotes and coordinates programs to provide members with a variety fitness activities. Responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, reviewing new patient registration, and entering new patient information into the computer system at an outpatient care site. You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at 260 US Highway 181 North, Floresville, TX 78114.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a previous administrative role
• Valid driver license and dependable transportation necessary
• Experience in a patient facing role involving structured and planned activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Health related field
• Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population
• Experience in Community health outreach programs
• Nutrition knowledge
• 2 years as a Personal Trainer and/or performing wellness and recreational activities

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $38,000 - $45,800 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
