Standup Forklift--2nd Shift

Standup Forklift – 2nd Shift Key responsibilities: Operate in a manner where SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT are the highest importance. Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders. Re‑casing, order picking, replenishing, wrapping, and labeling orders per customer’s KPI. Pull, pack, and ship orders consistently and accurately using stand‑up lifts. Lift cases—cases weigh an average of 35 pounds, 50 pounds on the high end. Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions. Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance. Wear all NewCold and OSHA mandated personal protective equipment. Demonstrate knowledge of company safety programs. Operate forklift to move customer products. Inspect forklifts and equipment daily, prior to operation. Complete all applicable documentation and recordkeeping. Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Be able to work with a team, take direction, follow work rules, and take on additional job responsibilities as needed. Education and Experience Forklift experience preferred but not required. Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on‑site test. Physical Requirements Able to work in temperatures of -5 degrees for hours at a time. Able to repeatedly lift customer products weighing up to 50 lbs each, safely manipulating product from overhead and floor level and placing on pallet at floor level and overhead. Able repeatedly to hand wrap pallets using provided tools, moving from floor level to overhead. Ability to work multiple shifts from 8 to 10 hours, sometimes standing for several hours at a time. Ability to maintain single‑task focus and situational awareness.
