A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a large, high-volume hospital in Houston, TX. This contract role offers the chance to work night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient setting, providing critical pharmacy services that directly impact patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage inpatient medication orders, including verification and administration.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC, to document and monitor medication use.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacy license.
• Texas IV certification.
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Experience working with EPIC electronic health records is highly desirable.
