Assist in determining the suitability of donors Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center while following occupational safety and protective-equipment requirements Requirements High School diploma or GED Superior customer service standards Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable Patient and reliable, with commitment to keeping donors comfortable and happy Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day Frequent hand movement and ability to make fast, simple finger, hand, and wrist movements Ability to make precise coordinated finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects Ability to walk up to 6-8 hours per day Ability to lift 15 lb. routinely, with a maximum lift of 50 lb.
