Head Start Pre-K Lead Teacher

$5,000 sign-on bonus 

 

Do you have a passion to make a difference and positively impact young children and their families? Classroom is run in partnership with Public School. We are now hiring a Lead Teacher to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.

• $5,000 sign-on bonus payable in four installments ($1000 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $2000 after 1 year – external applicants only)

Your role:

• Partnering with families to develop child focused goals that meet individual needs
• Planning, implementing and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for preschoolers
• Building positive and supportive relationships with children and families
• Coordinating the daily operations of the classroom while supervising the activities of 1 or more staff members

 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Experience working with children in a center-based setting; prior experience working with families and supervising others preferred
• Willing to work flexible hours to meet families’ needs

• Immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis). 
• Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
