In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks that form the backbone of modern communication infrastructure. - Assisting fiber optic installation crews in the field - digging, trenching, pulling cable, and conduit work
- Operating hand tools and light equipment under crew lead supervision
- Following traffic control, safety, and OSHA guidelines on job sites
- Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment
- Working alongside experienced technicians and learning on the job every day
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US
- Valid driver's license preferred (or reliable transportation to job sites)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic - punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Prior construction, landscaping, utility, or labor experience is a plus - but not required
- $20.00/hr starting pay - paid weekly
- Consistent 40-hour workweek with overtime available
- On-the-job training - no prior fiber optic experience needed
- Clear path to grow into technician and crew lead roles
- PPE and safety gear supplied from day one
- Stable, in-demand industry work - fiber optic is the future of infrastructure
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined or tight spaces
- Must be able to work on uneven terrain and active construction sites
