Prima Mobile Detailing is a luxury mobile detailing company serving Omaha, Elkhorn, Gretna and surrounding areas. We detail daily drivers, luxury vehicles, boats, RVs, and aircraft. We are hiring a Detail Technician now, and we promote from within as we grow.
WHY THIS JOB IS DIFFERENT
You run your own van. No shop, no standing at a wash bay all day. You get a scheduled route, a fully stocked company van, and you own your jobs start to finish.
Your pay grows with your work. You earn the GREATER of $18/hr or 20% commission on the revenue of jobs you personally complete. Slow week? The hourly floor protects you, guaranteed. Strong week? Techs completing 15 jobs take home $810+ that week. You are never punished for a rain day, and you are always rewarded for production.
Clear path up. Master the core services and you can train into ceramic coating and paint correction work, which unlocks a higher earnings tier.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Complete 2-3 details per day solo from your assigned company van (interior details, exterior details, full details)
- Drive to customer homes and offices on a pre-planned route (we handle booking and scheduling)
- Follow Prima's quality control checklist on every job, including photo documentation before leaving each site
- Walk each customer around the finished vehicle before you leave
- Keep your van stocked, clean, and maintained
- Represent a premium brand: on time, professional, respectful of high-end vehicles and properties
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required, you drive a company van)
- Reliable and self-managing: you will work independently most of the day
- Physical stamina: bending, kneeling, working outdoors in Nebraska weather
- Detailing experience is a plus, not required. We train the Prima way. Work ethic beats experience.
- Pride in finished work. Our reputation is built one vehicle at a time.
PAY, PLAINLY
- Guaranteed floor: $18/hr on all clocked hours
- Upside: 20% commission on completed job revenue, paid instead of hourly whenever it is higher
- Average job ticket is around $270. Complete 14+ jobs in a week and commission beats hourly.
- Typical range: $37,000-$44,000/year depending on production
