The Associate Banker SAFE Act LO is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge and contributes to the development of new techniques, improving processes and workflow within the area or function. The role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub‑function, and coordinates to achieve objectives of the function and overall business. Responsibilities include evaluating moderately complex and variable issues, filtering and prioritizing complex material, strong communication and diplomacy, informal and formal leadership within teams, coaching and training new recruits, and influencing decisions through advice, counsel and facilitation of services. Responsibilities Partner with Banker in creating sales and marketing strategies designed to generate revenue growth and acquire new target clients. Conduct prospect research, generate leads, develop prospects, network for referrals, and coordinate client events. Organize pre‑call planning, post‑meeting notes, and maintain all client call records including call reports. Introduce Citi's value proposition to incoming employees at target firms. Cultivate relationships with firm employees, source leads and referrals to generate new individual and institutional business. Leverage relationships to understand client needs and deepen Citi's relationships with existing clients. Construct and execute marketing campaigns around Citi's unique and tailored product offerings. Work closely with Investments, Credit, Cash Management, and Financial Planning teams to source opportunities, prepare client pitches, and deliver Citi's full suite of banking and wealth management solutions. Provide complete service support to clients, including solving complex client inquiries. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrate ethical judgment, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications 3–7 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in wealth management or other financial services roles preferred. Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally. Ability to multitask. FINRA SIE, Series7, and Series66 required (or obtained within 120 days). Education Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
