Title: Facility Coordinator

Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite Monday-Friday)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility for 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM), minimal overtime, no regular on-call requirements

Pay : $25-$30 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Facility Coordinator to support day-to-day facility operations for a large, multi-use campus environment in Richmond, VA. This individual will act as the primary on-site coordinator for soft service vendors and facility support activities, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience coordinating vendors, managing facility services, troubleshooting operational issues, and serving as the main point of contact between service providers, facility management, and site operations teams. This is not a Facilities Manager role, but rather a hands-on coordinator position focused on execution, communication, and service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Facilities Coordinator, Workplace Services Coordinator, Facilities Administrator, or similar role.
• Experience coordinating vendors and facility service providers.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and general computer systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting both interior building operations and exterior grounds services.
• Comfortable working onsite five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large corporate campuses, mixed-use facilities, industrial sites, or mission-critical environments.
• Background supporting soft services programs such as janitorial, landscaping, waste management, recycling, workplace services, or building operations.
• Project management or facilities project coordination experience.
• Familiarity with vendor management, service-level agreements (SLAs), and quality assurance processes.
