You make a difference.QUALITY SUPERVISORPosition SummaryLead the Quality program for business unit at the Warren site. This position will be charged with supporting the Operations and Supply all side of the business as well as using the tools of the CIRCOR Operating System to drive systemic process improvements into our organization. The role will partner with multiple stakeholders in the Warren business from operations to outside customers each day. Most importantly, this associate will play a critical role in advocating for our Customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage team of union inspectors for both pumps and valvesEstablish and maintain methods for inspection prioritization and throughput in collaboration with productionProvide updates during daily production meetingsReview and audit Novacura job trackingMaintain inspector timecardsManage reporting of performance including Gemba board support, bowler charts, RAILs, etc.Assist Operations to reduce the number of customers reported quality issuesLead 5S activities in inspection areasReduce and manage inspection backlogs of different inspection types (incoming, in-process, PT, final, etc.)Balance resources depending on workload and schedule cross training and certification activitiesManage hold point/source inspection schedulingCANDIDATE PROFILEKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesA clear understanding of Defense contracts and specifications is a plus. able to work closely with shipyards and DCMA inspectorsA clear understanding of FAR clauses and contract requirements is a plus to flow down to maintain all requirements are followed through production and inspection planExperience with military inspections related to contracts, NDT processes, ISO, and other government technical documents to ensure compliance is a plusMust have leadership ability, capacity for strategic thinking, ability to foster innovation, time management skills, and unquestionable integrityDemonstrated ability for managing conflict and changeMetrology experience using scanning tools, CMMs etc.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEExperience as a quality supervisor in a manufacturing / industrial setting, with a minimum of 3 years leading a teamExperience in ISO Audit & certification, and MIL-I-45208Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experienceOtherU.S. CitizenCOMPANY BACKGROUNDCIRCOR International is one of the world’s leading providers of mission critical flow control products and services for the Industrial and Aerospace & Defense markets.
