On-Call Catering Team Member

Simply Gourmet by Metz is looking for dependable, energetic team members to join our On-Call Catering Team for our upcoming season (SeptemberJune).

This is a flexible, on-call position supporting a variety of catered events throughout the Sarasota area. We are looking for people who enjoy working as part of a team, aren't afraid of some physical work, and understand that great hospitality makes all the difference.

What You'll Do:

• Load and unload catering trucks, equipment, food and supplies
• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Follow Simply Gourmet's Steps of Service
• Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to our guests
• Maintain a clean and organized event space
• Work alongside our catering team to help events run smoothly

We're Looking For:

• Dependable and punctual team players
• A hospitality-first attitude
• Ability to work on your feet and lift/carry event equipment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varying event schedules
• Catering, restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right people

Position: Seasonal / On-Call Catering Staff Season: October through June Schedule: Based on event needs evenings and weekends will be required

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we are seeking hospitality driven individuals to join our AMAZING Catering Team!

This is a great opportunity to show off your creativity and attention to detail by perfecting beautiful presentations of food and displays while providing AMAZING service to our Guests and Hosts. Catering Team Members create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with unforgettable hospitality and guest experience focus. Our catering events range from small casual business lunches to extravagant black-tie events.

Catering Positions Include:

• Bar Tenders
• Servers
• Drivers
• Cooks
• Operations (set up/tear down)

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a SMILE is required!

Requirements:

• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
• Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
• Hospitality-driven
• Able to work and thrive in a team environment
• Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM
