About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:30 - 16:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience. License: Current PT license required. Certifications: Wound care certification preferred but not necessary. Must-Have: Candidates must have acute care experience including ICU/CCU, as they may be the only PT on weekends. Description: This position is for a contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The candidate will be required to work from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of acute care experience. They may be the only physical therapist on weekends, so they must be competent in managing care independently. The unit has 72 beds with a supportive team including two physical therapists, one occupational therapist, and PRN staff. The candidate will engage with patients recovering from procedures such as open heart surgery, TAVR, and LVAD implants. Communication among staff is encouraged and facilitated through iMobile. The team includes experienced therapists, one with over 30 years of experience and a specialization in wound care. The working environment is collaborative, ensuring excellent patient care and support.
