Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics

Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty: RRT Pediatrics

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years, Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience preferred

License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start

Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Certification

Must-Have: Epic experience preferred

Description:


This position involves working nights in a pediatric setting.


The schedule is three consecutive 12-hour shifts.


Holiday rotation and every other weekend are required.


There is no on-call requirement for this position.


The clinician may float within their scope depending on experience.


Candidates with 2 years of experience are preferred, but first-timers will be considered.


The role requires certification as a Respiratory Therapist and current BLS and PALS certifications.


Experience in a pediatric unit and familiarity with Epic charting are preferred.


Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.


All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.


Candidates are advised that during hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.


The position is suited for those comfortable with the responsibilities associated with working in a pediatric environment.
