Position Summary:

• Duke Cancer Network Affiliated program.
• Welcoming, collegial and supportive group of five providers: physician + three APPs
• 95% outpatient /5% inpatient mix:
• APPs manage inpatient rounding. Physician consultations as needed
• Clinic hours 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Providers typically see patients from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM.
• Average patient load of patients per day.
• Hhospitalist group admits
• 1:3 consultative phone only call. Calls are rare.
• Acute leukemics referred to higher levels of care.
• Weekly multi-specialty tumor board.
• Clinical research trial portfolio with a comprehensive support team including a genetic counselor and dedicated research associate.
