Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

The selected candidate will work across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM . This role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, advanced scripting knowledge, platform architecture expertise, Agile/Scrum experience, and the ability to collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and end users to deliver scalable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions.
  
• Maintain and continuously improve implemented ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
  
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to build requested items, tasks, workflows, and process automation solutions.
  
• Gather, document, and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  
• Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  
• Design and develop ServiceNow forms, tables, modules, workflows, and Flow Designer solutions.
  
• Configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and related ServiceNow components.
  
• Develop and support CMS and Service Portal functionality as needed.
  
• Create, manage, promote, and test ServiceNow update sets across multiple instances through production.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  
• Perform operational and administrative ServiceNow tasks as needed.
  
• Assist with report configuration, maintenance, and platform reporting needs.
  
• Support application integration, compatibility, testing, and multi-platform solution delivery.
  
• Participate in feasibility analysis, software package evaluation, integration tool assessment, and recommendations for future enhancements.
  
• Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, security guidelines, governance standards, and maintain an out-of-the-box approach whenever possible.
  
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  
• Act as a technical lead on projects when required.
  
• Participate in the development of technical documentation, user manuals, and operational support materials.
  
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, platform features, and industry trends.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and service optimization.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  
• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  
• 6+ years of experience developing and supporting ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM.
  
• 6+ years of proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
  
• 6+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow architecture and advanced ServiceNow scripting.
  
• 6+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Strong experience designing and configuring ServiceNow forms, tables, workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Script Includes, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, and Formatters.
  
• Experience creating, promoting, and testing ServiceNow update sets across multiple instances.
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
  
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting software applications.
  
• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
  
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
  
• Experience mentoring junior developers or serving as a technical lead.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting, integrations, service portals, and continuous platform improvement.
  
• Experience supporting enterprise or government-related ServiceNow implementations.
  

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
