About the Role

We are seeking a dependable Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team in Brighton, CO. In this role, you'll accurately cut bulk electrical wire to customer specifications using specialized wire-cutting equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The products you prepare help support field service technicians throughout the Denver area, making quality and accuracy critical to success in this role.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret work orders to identify wire type, length, and quantity requirements

• Stage and prepare bulk wire for production

• Operate wire-cutting machinery to cut wire to exact specifications

• Verify measurements and quantities before orders are shipped

• Maintain a high level of accuracy to prevent costly errors and rework

• Follow warehouse safety standards and operating procedures

• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals

• Assist with general warehouse duties, material handling, and organization as needed

• Collaborate with team members to support workflow and customer needs

• Work overtime regularly (approximately 50–55 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in one of the following:

• Wire cutting

• Machine operation

• Construction

• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations accurately

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to follow written instructions and work orders

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime

• Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and handle materials for extended periods

Work Environment

This position is based in a busy industrial distribution warehouse with approximately 15 warehouse team members. The environment can be:

• Loud and active

• Hot during summer months

• Cold during winter months

• Dusty and dirty due to warehouse operations

Schedule

• Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Regular overtime extending shifts to approximately 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Occasional extended days until approximately 6:00 PM

Dress Code

• Steel-toe footwear required

• Jeans without holes

• Appropriate work attire for an industrial warehouse setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse, distribution, order selection, or general labor experience

• Forklift experience

• Experience working in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
