Associate Network Engineer at Peraton Pacific County, WA

Responsibilities Design and plan network communications systems. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conduct testing of network design. Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network. Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations. Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluate and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience with BS/BA; 4 years of overall experience in lieu of no degree US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) An active Secret clearance Salary and Benefits Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
