Job Description
The HVAC Tech will specialize in repair, maintenance, and sales of residential HVAC systems within the local area. This self-managed contractor role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, parts replacement, and ensuring quality inspections while leading sales efforts in residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on residential systems
- Replace faulty or worn parts efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure optimal system performance
- Lead sales efforts for HVAC repair and maintenance services
- Provide expert customer service and technical guidance
- Operate as a self-managed contractor with local travel only
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC repair and sales
- Technical certification in HVAC
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical components
- Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Skilled in customer service and sales techniques
- Effective communication skills
