Physical Therapist/PT - Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist/PT - Physical Therapy

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; no call, no weekends

Experience Required: Minimum 1+ years in specialty; preferably with experience managing a diverse patient caseload

Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR): Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Amputees, Multiple trauma, Hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, s/p Cardiac surgery, s/p COVID, medically complex/debilitating patients
Acute Care: Post-cardiac, post-orthopedic procedures, medically complex/debilitating patients
Outpatient: General Orthopedics (surgical & non-surgical), Sports Medicine, Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro-specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical & non-surgical)
Skilled Nursing: Similar patient profiles to IPR

Current Louisiana PT license required
Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferable

Ability to independently manage a caseload with complex patient needs
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

EMR Systems: EPIC (Inpatient Rehab & Acute Care), Wellsky (Outpatient), transitioning to Meditech Expanse for Skilled Nursing
Department-specific equipment and charting tools

Supervisors: Department Supervisor, Assistant Director, Peer Therapists
Orientation: Hospital and departmental/site-specific (2-3 days), with full caseload expected by week's end

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend rotation: approximately 1 per month for IPR and Acute Care
No scheduled holidays
No on-call requirement
Scrub color: Pewter (Inpatient) or professional dress (Outpatient)
Free parking provided

Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30
