Director, Collins Cyber Mission Support (Hybrid)

Position Overview Cyber Mission Support (CMS) Leader – Hybrid role. U.S. citizen or U.S. person required. Based in Arlington, Virginia. Posted 2026-06-15. Security clearance: None required. Responsibilities Guide, develop, and enable execution of the Digital Cybersecurity strategy across business units. Lead a cohort of Cybersecurity & Compliance Leaders (CCLs) and report directly to the CISO. Serve as the primary coordination point for cybersecurity matters across business functions. Engage executive leadership, IT, engineering, legal, compliance, privacy, risk management, internal audit, and business unit leaders to translate cyber risk into business impact. Communicate with regulators, auditors, customers, partners, and vendors to articulate security posture, address findings, negotiate requirements, and build trust. Represent the business unit CISO in all matters when the CISO is unavailable; provide leadership coverage and operational oversight. Act as an extension of the business unit CISO at industry councils, strategic planning, and goal alignment. Qualifications – Must Have University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 14 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 12 years experience. Advanced business knowledge and broad cybersecurity experience across multiple domains. General management and leadership capability to lead an embedded cyber team directly interfacing with internal and external customers. Ability to translate cyber risk into business impact and guide execution. Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders and external partners.
