1st Shift Production Supervisor - Discrete Manufacturing

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of employees and contingent workers by providing clear direction, meaningful feedback, training, performance evaluations, and effective workforce planning and scheduling.
• Establish and continuously improve standardized work procedures and operating instructions to drive consistency, efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
• Investigate Service Requests to identify root causes, implement sustainable corrective actions, and proactively prevent future issues through a continuous improvement mindset.
• Own the execution of operational results by driving on-time delivery of customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving plant goals related to safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and lead-time improvement.
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and open communication by serving as a trusted liaison between employees and staff, facilitating regular toolbox meetings, aligning teams around priorities and performance targets, and empowering employees to identify and solve problems.
• Build organizational capability by mentoring team members, recognizing and developing talent, and creating growth opportunities that strengthen both individual performance and the long-term success of the operation.

You establish clear responsibilities and processes for supervising work and measuring results. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small, and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Experience in machining operations.
• Two (2) years of functional supervisory/leadership experience.
• Five (5) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven understanding of applicable products and processes in a value stream.
• Lean Manufacturing training / experience.
