Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 8 West CC - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and nursing process. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and family members with concerns. Requirements Education: BSN required; ADN acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York State. BLS certification required. NRP certification preferred. ACLS certification preferred. PALS certification preferred.
