This position provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and support patients in their rehabilitation journey.Unit Details\n The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Responsibilities also include participation in a wound care clinic and working closely with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors to cater to lymphedema patients. The caseload includes young adults to geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, primarily focusing on lymphedema care.Schedule\n \n Potential shifts are available as 4x10s or 5x8s, depending on preference.\n The manager is flexible with scheduling.\n No weekend work required.\n On-Call and Floating\n There is no on-call requirement, although the therapist may be required to float within the facility and to the acute care inpatient facility as needed, within the scope of practice.Qualifications\n \n Lymphedema Certification (in-hand) is required.\n Georgia Occupational Therapy License (may be pending at submission).\n NBCOT certification is necessary, but initial screening can be conducted during submission.\n Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy; first-time travelers are welcome.\n Compliance and Orientation\n Full compliance is required to ensure timely start dates.
