Job Duties

• Greet customers, listen to concerns, and document vehicle issues accurately.
• Create service orders and provide clear estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate repair recommendations and technical information to customers in an understandable way.
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and labor performed.
• Follow up with customers regarding service status, recalls, or maintenance reminders.
• Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred. Previous experience as a service writer or in automotive customer service is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes. Computer proficiency for scheduling, invoicing, and record-keeping.
