Job Description

Busy allergy practice seeking part time RN or LPN to join our dynamic team!

Job Duties Include: EMR use, taking vital signs, performing skin test, spirometry, food and drug challenges, administering allergy injections, processing medication refills, prior authorizations, lab and prescriptions requests. Training provided .

Qualifications

Required

Current and active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN) in the State of Virginia.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Prior outpatient nursing experience (clinic, physician office, allergy/immunology preferred).
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and strong documentation skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-education skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Our providers specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of adult and pediatric patients with allergic diseases, including seasonal and perennial allergies, asthma, food allergies, urticaria and other allergy-related diseases. We have been providing excellent care to patients in Northern Virginia since 1975, helping them to improve their quality of life by managing their disease.
