Job Opening: Seasonal Onsite Cottage Manager Property: Jacobson's Cottages (Midvale Hospitality Group) Location: East Glacier, MT Season Duration: August 10, 2026, through October 1, 2026 Classification: W-2 Employee, Full-Time (Seasonal) The Role Midvale Hospitality Group is seeking a hands‑on, hospitality‑driven Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure a quality guest experience, and manage our property for the remainder of the 2026 season. This is a mandatory live‑on‑site role that requires a mix of guest relations, operational oversight, and property maintenance. Compensation Package We offer a highly competitive compensation package detailing both direct wages and employer‑provided benefits: Base Salary: $5,600.00 per month, paid bi‑weekly at $2,584 per pay period. Performance Bonus: $20 for every 5-star public review that specifically mentions the manager by name or property cleanliness. Eligible reviews must be from verified paying guests on Google, Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, or our direct website. Included Housing & Utilities (Estimated Monthly Value: $1,225.00) Onsite Housing: Exclusive use of the onsite RV Trailer. This housing is provided as a mandatory condition of employment and is tied directly to active employment. Covered Utilities: High-speed internet, water, electricity, and trash service are fully covered. Note: Under IRS guidelines, employer‑provided housing required for the job is generally non‑taxable. Schedule & Lifestyle Work Week: 5 days per week, with standard two consecutive guaranteed days off (days TBD depending on staffing schedules) Active Hours: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM on scheduled workdays. This includes a mandatory 2-hour midday break when guest activity is at its lowest. On-Call Protocol: Strictly limited to true emergencies requiring immediate intervention to prevent property damage or physical harm, Onsite Manager is required to be available via phone/text with a 10 to 15-minute response time, 5 days a week. Physical deployment for to true emergencies expected within 20 minutes. Core Responsibilities Guest Experience: Act as the primary interface for guests, manage online inquiries, answer questions in person, and ensure a seamless, contactless check‑in process. Operational Oversight: Manage the cleaning program, find and hire staff, manage staff payroll budget, oversee cleaners, clean rooms when needed, inspect cottages to guarantee high standards, and recommend operational efficiencies. Property Maintenance: Handle daily landscaping, groundskeeping, and minor maintenance tasks such as unclogging sinks, changing bulbs, and paint touchups. Reputation Management: Drive guest satisfaction to secure positive public reviews and perform additional tasks related to running rental cabins as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
