Healthcare HR Manager & Staffing Coordinator

Mill Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center announces an opening for a Human Resource Manager and Staffing Coordinator. We are a 152-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility committed to compassionate, high-quality care in a home-like environment. Full-time opportunities available. Same day pay. $25-30 per hour. Human Resource Manager Responsibilities Review requests for paid time off (PTO), vacation, maternity leave, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and unpaid leaves of absence. Fulfill staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Submit payroll on a biweekly basis for all staff. Check time-clock punch records against master schedules and note the appropriate changes. Sign time-correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out. Approve contracts with temporary staffing agencies that send nurses or nursing assistants to the facility. Utilize computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule. Human Resource Manager Qualifications Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public. Knowledge of billing and collection practices and techniques. Experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting. Payroll experience. Nurse scheduling experience preferred.
