Baymeadows Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment while providing high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Early Childhood Education
• Completion of the required 40 hours of Florida Child Care Training
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Successful completion of Level 2 Background Screening
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with children, families, and fellow staff members

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that meet Florida VPK standards.
• Foster children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student growth and classroom activities.
• Follow all licensing, VPK, and school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with administration and fellow teachers to provide a positive learning experience.
