Sr Manager, Supplier Quality

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Manager of Supplier Quality to lead a global team managing supplier performance across the product lifecycle. The role encompasses regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic stakeholder engagement within medical device and pharmaceutical supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supplier quality team, manage performance reviews, and build succession plans aligned with business priorities
• Own supplier quality framework across lifecycle including assessment, qualification, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Define supplier quality metrics, analyze performance trends, and guide resource allocation and process improvements
• Plan and oversee supplier audits, manage corrective action governance, and prevent recurring nonconformances
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, and operations to resolve systemic supplier quality challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 8–10 years, or advanced degree plus 6 years in medical device/pharmaceutical quality or regulatory roles
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 regulations
• Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies (8D, FMEA, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping)
• Experience with quality management systems such as SAP or TrackWise
• Familiarity with global regulatory agencies (FDA, IVDR, PMDA, ANVISA, Health Canada)
• Quality Lead Auditor certification preferred

Compensation: $119,400–$165,000 base
