Phlebotomist

Labcorp is a leading diagnostics company. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bethesda, MD. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm; alternate Saturday as assigned (must be flexible). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Equivalently, Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency may substitute for work experience. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Travel to additional sites as needed; reliable transportation required. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour. All job offers are based on skills and experience.
