High School Diploma/GED preferred.The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Primary Duties/ResponsibilitiesHandle all donations with care and respect.Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated areas.Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Report quality variances.Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product type are loaded and shipped.Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.Efficiently move product from staging and storage areas into trailers.Sort donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, salvage, and trash, according to established guidelines.Use machinery safely and appropriately to tip or compact designated products for sale or recycling.Maintain high quality and high quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.Safeguard company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft.Report any incidents of theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, Risk Management, or employee hotline.Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.All other duties as assigned.BenefitsIndividual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.Individual and family dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours per week.Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours per week.403(B) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.403(B) Retirement + Employer Match after one year of employment for employees working 20 or more hours per week.401(A) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.PTO Accrual up to 15 days based on hours worked.Employee store discountPaid holidaysFlexible SchedulesCareer Growth OpportunitiesMERS Missouri Goodwill is an equal-opportunity employer.
