Renewals & retention: Maintain relationships with existing clients, review coverage periodically, and secure renewals. Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to add complementary insurance products to client portfolios. Client service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers, explaining policy terms, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Risk assessment: Educate clients on risk factors, advise on prevention, and help tailor coverage to their situation. Application & underwriting: Gather information for quotations, submit applications to carriers, and work with account managers or underwriters to complete coverage. Claims support: Assist clients through the claims process, coordinate with carriers, and help resolve issues. Account management: Maintain accurate records in agency management systems and CRM tools; track trends and report on business performance. Carrier relations: Build professional relationships with underwriters through consistent, high-quality risk submissions and visits Requirements Current P&C insurance license in the state of employment. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
