Our available scheduling and incentive options let you choose what matters most to you!! Hiring Casual/PRN/Per Diem Registered Nurses (RN) on ALL SHIFTS! PRN employees must work one (1) weekend per month (2 shifts), two (2) additional shifts, and a summer and winter holiday. This equates to four (4) shifts per month. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN): Active Registered Nurse (RN) license PRN employees must work one (1) weekend per month (2 shifts), two (2) additional shifts, and a summer and winter holiday. This equates to four (4) shifts per month. Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN): Evaluate performance, initiate disciplinary actions, and prepare and complete performance evaluations for personnel. Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care. Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care Establish realistic, measurable short and long term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes. Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders. Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented. Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts. Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents,personnel, and support agencies. Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people withinthe Facility.
