Peregrine Senior Living is searching for a dedicated Part-Time Cook with a passion for working with seniors! Schedule: Part Time (22 hours a week) Salary: $17.00 -$18.50 per hour - based on experience Benefits: Generous PTO Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays Aetna Health Plans, Dental, Vision Child Care Reimbursement Compassionate PTO Donation Program – to support a team member Flexible Scheduling Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program PTO Cash Out Program Retirement Plan – 401(k) with company match Cook Responsibilities include: Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations and guidelines Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs Cook Education & Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required.
