Assistant General Manager – Jersey Mike's Subs Responsibilities Maintain restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others Work in a fast‑paced team‑driven environment Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency Interface with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience Full understanding of the terms accountability and integrity Key holder responsibilities Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of the store Know how to bake bread and perform overall prep Manage and lead a crew of 3 to 7 people Proficient in slicing Create employee schedule Place inventory orders Fill in for manager in all capacities when needed Assist in employee training Lead by example Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions Qualifications Education: High school degree or equivalent 1 year QSR experience preferred Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer ServeSafe certification – Food Handler Must have reliable transportation Key Competencies Excellent menu and product knowledge with an awesome personality Ability to thrive in a fast‑pace environment Desire to improve self and skill sets Effective communication with guests and an awesome personality Participation in all Jersey Mike’s training programs Reliability and ability to meet schedule requirements We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.
