Biostatistician III

Biostatistician IIIThe Biostatistician III will assume a statistical lead within a team of statisticians to carry out all statistical tasks and responsibilities within a wide range of collaborative research studies, including clinical trials, varying from small phase 1 to large phase 3 studies across many different study designs and disease areas. A great degree of leadership and initiative is expected of the Biostatistician III.Major duties and responsibilities:Prepare statistical sections of proposals/protocols and contribute to overall study designPrepare statistical analysis plansPrepare data monitoring plansCreate programming specifications and mock Tables, Figures, and ListingsProduce interim and final statistical analysis reportsParticipate in the authoring of manuscriptsPerform validation and peer reviewAttend professional meetings and short courses to expand or maintain professional knowledge and expertise, and participate in informal seminars and training sessions within the organizationAssume a leadership role within Frontier Science or on specific projects to which the organization plays a major role. This may include:Organize internal seminars or similar knowledge sharing sessions within the organizationMentor junior or new hire statistical, epidemiological, or statistical programming staff at Frontier ScienceParticipate in scientific committees of major networksServe in a formal leadership capacity for Frontier ScienceReports to: Office DirectorRequired qualifications:Master's Degree in biostatistics, statistics, or closely related fieldAt least 20 years of experience as a Biostatistician, or similar position, along with a proven record of successExperience with major statistical computing packages, such as SAS and RExcellent oral and written communication skills, including scientific writingExperience working with clinical trials researchApplications will be received through the ADP Workforce Now Career Center.
