Claims Adjuster

Claims AdjusterSchneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation.Responsibilities:Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.Accurately document all claims activities.Skills and qualifications:Associate degree or paralegal certificate.2-4 years of relevant work experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Outstanding problem-solving skills.Pay and benefits:Medical, dental and vision insurance.Company paid life insurance.401(k) savings plan with company match.Paid time off and paid holidays.Results-based incentive pay program where you can earn above and beyond your base pay.Tuition reimbursement.Schneider's inclusive culture:Our history has taught us that treating everyone with dignity and respect is vital to our ongoing success.
